416film_tone_death_movie_poster_8x12_11022019_rpBack in October 416Film.com took part in the Toronto 48 Hour film contest once more.

Our genre: Musical.

This may be my least favourite genre but I feel like everyone involved busted their asses for this one. It didn’t put us in the finals but it is a weird, fun little film with 6.5 original songs.

Thanks to everyone involved including Paul French for the music. The writing group of Patrick Wiliiamson, Eric Myles, Ibrahim Mohamed and Rob Paul.

An old schoolmate Michael Obadia came out to do cinematography and ended up playing a role singing The Conspiracy Song, Lisa Kennedy made her 416Film debut with as a adult/child serial killer, and as (mostly) always Neil Bennet and Patrick Williamson did not let us down by playing a couple of fairly stupid detectives.

Written, shot and edited in 48 hours (although lightly tweaked after the original screening in November please feel free to abuse your soul with 416Film’s latest offering: Tone Death. Hope you enjoy it!
